Our Monthly Charity
Each month we support a local charity in a special collection at our Communion Services.
It is a custom that goes back 450 years in our Congregational way of being the church.
People coming to church and sharing communion would take gifts of food and money to members of their congregation who were in prison.
Later the communion collection was used to help people in need within the congregation.
In recent years we have taken to supporting a local charity each month.
